About Clayton C
Born and raised in Portland, Jamaica, Clayton C is now based in Toronto, Canada. He began his musical journey on a local sound system called Symphonics, where his passion for music and uniquely smooth vocals quickly gained attention.
Encouraged by friends and family, Clayton began sharing his voice with the world. His biggest musical inspiration is the late great Maxi Millian of Toronto. Over the years, he’s made a name with tracks like "On Fire," "Love Like ABC," and Call Me songs that have received international airplay across the UK, Amsterdam, and Jamaica.
After a sabbatical to reflect and grow, Clayton has returned with renewed focus, working on powerful new tracks. Based in Toronto, he remains one of the city’s top reggae vocalists, having performed at the Durham Caribbean Festival (twice), Jamaica Day Celebration, and earning nominations at the Reggae Music Achievers Awards and Canadian Reggae Music Awards.
Clayton C has shared stages with reggae icons like Queen Ifrica, Tony Rebel, Errol Dunkley, and Leroy Sibbles. Known for his smooth yet powerful voice, he consistently delivers clean, uplifting reggae music.
His recent release "I Feel So Free" a lovers rock track produced under his own label, Amondojah Production—is already resonating with fans, especially the ladies. More heartfelt and meaningful music is on the way, with plans for video releases to further connect with the massive.
